First Earth

Very first canvas of a long series made with natural pigments collected during a year of travel around Europe.

Each pigment has a particular story linked to a place, an adventure and an emotion that are dear to me.

It is with great joy that I realized this work which carries on it a piece of Spain, Albania, Slovenia and Romania.

Linen canvas on wooden frame.
Size: 100x100x2.5cm
Unpainted edges

Mixed media: natural mineral and vegetable pigments, acrylic, matte varnish.
