The image of the snake is often misunderstood. Indeed, Christianity and the snake that pushes Eve to eat the forbidden fruit left a terribly negative image of this animal, linked to the devil, to evil, to evil and to manipulation.
However, the snake has many other meanings according to different cultures around the world. Sometimes a symbol of fertility, sometimes of rebirth, sexuality, wisdom or even eternity. Everyone knows, for example, the image of the famous snake that kills its tail, without perhaps knowing the name "ouroboros" or its meaning, which nevertheless speaks of the eternal return, the repetition of cycles and patterns, or again of perpetual rebirth, and therefore of eternity.
It is therefore important to consider this symbolism in its entirety, and not in a negative and unhealthy image.
Flowers do not escape symbolism. Each shape and color has its own meaning.
The peony, originally from China, is a symbol of femininity, gentleness and generosity, but it can also be a symbol of shyness, or serve to reinforce the character of a message.
So it's up to you to find the massage that speaks to you in this work. Blooming sexuality, evolution and personal journey represented by the movement of the snake in full bloom represented by the flower, or even a change in your life that has marked you, like the snake that moults to make way for a new being, and that blooming like the flower that opens at dawn.
The colors of the photos may differ slightly from the original work.
